Hello happy October 1st and welcome to another edition of BAF from Altenew Called Laeila. I am so glad you are joining me from lovely Linda Parker's blog. I hope you are getting inspired and having tons of fun hopping along. This months BAF Laelia is such an elegant set. I opted for a very simple design to show case these flowers.
The flowers were stamped using Altenew Crisp Dye Inks in various shades of pink. And for the leaves I went with teal colors. The outline of the flowers was stamped and embossed using Altenew Gold Embossing powder. I die cut the flowers using the coordinating dies.
For the background, i used a very light pink dye ink and stamped the solid leaves from this stamp set all over a pink card stock panel which was cut at 51/4x4. I stamped and embossed the diamond geometric shape from Altenew's Geo Frames stamp set in the center of the pink panel. I adhered the two die cut flowers over the embossed shape and added some gem stones in similar colors as in the flowers. I added the sentiment Thank you from BAF Laelia in black obdsidian ink. I adhered the pink panel on a notecard of the same color.
