Hello friends
I love making Christmas cards and Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I send out a lot of Christmas card to not only to friends and families but to many non profit organization small and big wishing them the Merriest Christmas and a very blessed Happy new Year. Also thanking them for all the things they do to help others and for the love and kindness they spread. In order to mass produce I have to come up with card ideas that are clean and simple and easy to make.
For this card I started of by creating a triangle which I drew in the center of the gray card stock. I then masked off all the edges using post it notes. After masking, I stamped the large SSS Leaves And Berries Background with SSS Embossing Ink pad and heat embossed it using Brutus Monroe Gilded Ultrafine Embossing Powder. The look of gold embossing powder over the gray card stock is very pretty. I stamped the greeting from SSS Holiday Greeting Mix1 right under the tree with SSS Fine Detail White embossing powder.
Initially I decided to leave it as is, but then I decided to add some white splatter and I was happy I did that. It gave a snow fall feel or rather a winter feel to the card. I also adhered a few gem stones from Pretty Pink Posh in between the spaces of the tree I created. I die cut the gray panel using a stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant's Basic Set Creative Cuts die set. this gray panel was then foam mounted on to a top folding Neenah Solar White 110lbs card stock.
I hope you like this card I made today and got you inspired to make some clean and simple modern cards as well. Have a creative day and catch you next time, until then keep shining and sharing some handmade love and kindness.
