Easy and Elegant Christmas Card

Hello friends,

Today it is all about easy and elegant. I have mentioned in a post few weeks ago about making a lot of Christmas cards to share, which means coming up with ideas that are easy to mass produce but also making sure not to compromise on style. The new stamp set from Wplus9 called the Winter Greenery is a good set to create some easy elegant cards.

I started with a 5x7 Desert Storm Cardstock (this size has become my favorite this year for Holiday cards.). I stamped the leafy branch using SSS Willow Ink which is a beautiful green ink on a Kraft cardstock in a semicircle on opposite corners. Keep in mind the base is kraft so the green will be a bit muted compared to using it on white Cardstock. I then used Altenew Markers in G935 and G915 to do some shading for the leaves. You don't have to do this part, because this stamps does come with a second layer that creates the shades and the veins. I did not have a good green ink that would work well with willow on kraft. Using the stamp layer will be quicker and faster.

After the leaves where all stamped and colored I embossed a pine branch with Brutus Monroe Gilded Gold Embossing Powder. I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner with SSS Whte Embossing powder and added some dots around the level and the pines with a white gel roll pen. I also stamped an additional sentiment from SSS Tiny Words Christmas onto a red cardstock using White Embossing Powder. This tiny sentiment was then cut into a banner shape using SSS Nested Banner Dies. I adhered the tiny banner at the bottom of the white embossed sentient with foam adhesive.

I finished the card by adding some Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops. I added Foam Adhesive to the back of the kraft panel and popped it on a Neenah Solar White 110 lbs side folding Cardstock.

Thank you for joining me on this post see you on the next unit then keep creating.
