Hello friends so excited to show you this beautiful release by Rubbernecker for August. This release has four large floral clear layering stamp set with a very Autumnal feel!! I have made four cards using this set showcasing each of the stamps in this August 2020 Rubbernecker release. Three out of the four stamp sets have a coordinating die set as well which makes it easier for card making. I love to create a lot of dimensions in my card and having die cuts makes it really handy.
I made two fall themed cards and two summer floral themes. I am not quite ready for fall yet as it seems like summer is just slipping away. Moving from NY to MN has cut short my summer by a whole month. I do love fall but only after I have enjoyed my summer does that make sense? Any way moving on to the cards I made.
Card 1:
This card was made using Autumn Fire stamp set, this stamp set has a large and a small flower. I simple stamped the layering flowers with some bright fall colors and die cut them uisng the coordinating dies.
On the edges of a cream card stock panel I did some ink blending using Rubbernecker Apricot Color Fuse Ink. For the splatter on the card stock I used Color Burst paint powder. When the card panel was dry i added the flowers on the edge with foam tape and a sentiment from the same set.
Cards 2
This was an easy crd to make, I just stamped the layered trees in the bottom of the notecard again with some fall colors. and added the sentiment with gold embossing powder on a black card stock and die cut it using a circle die. This I adhered with foam tape in the center of the panel splatterd some gold paint and I was done.
Here is another look at this card.
Card 3:
This card i stamped all the layers of the flowers and the leaves in some bright colors and fussy cut them as the dies are not yet available, but they will be in the stores soon. i embossed a circle in the center of the white card stock and adhere the flowers to the bottom the circle.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set as well.
Card 4:
For the last card I stamped and die cut all the flowers form the Blooming Vines stamp set in various colors. For the card I took a slim line card size paneling folded in half to make a 4x3 card. I took another slim line Solid Scallop Die from Rubbernecker and folded into half.
I adhered just one half of the scallop die to the back of the small note card and left other half unadhered. I did some ink blending on the scallop panel and adhere the flowers on this panel.
You can see in this image the folded scallop panel which I adhered only to the back of the small card. This allows for a surprise flap where you can add some additional sentiment and images like I have done here. You can add a message to the inside of the card I hope that makes sense.
I have a video up in the Rubbernecke Youtube channel with a close up of this release and the cards I made. Click on the image below to watch the video.
