Sending Love | Feat Rubbernecker Stamps

Hello Friends.

My card for today features Rubbernecker stamp products. This card is so not my usual style. I love to color flowers and sometimes cartoon critters. But this stamp set from Rubbenrcker called Jacqueline caught my attention. This is good size stamp, which makes it easy to color . I am using my copics to color this image today.

  • Start by stamping Jacqueline on a copic friendly cardstock using a copic compatible black ink.

  • Color the image using skin tone and hair color copic markers. I will added the colors used at the bottom of the page.

  • I fussy cut the image using a fine detail scissors, leaving a white border around it., making sure the white border was very close to the image, while fussy cutting.

  • Ink blend some shades of red, pink and green distress oxide inks though the Bold Rose Stencil on a bristol smooth cardstock. I used bristol smooth as it is easy to blend colors on it.

  • Die cut the floral stencil background with a rectangle die from the Nested Rectangle die set.

  • Die cut a frame using two different sizes of rectangle dies on a wood grain designer paper

  • Double up the foam tape and adhere behind the wood frame and adhere this to the center of a top folding white notecard, and insert the stenciled floral rectangle in it.

  • Pop Jaqualine with some foam tapes on the floral background. this gives it a shadow box look. Add a few clear crystal gems on the floral background for some sparkle if you wish.

  • Stamp and emboss the sentiment Sending Love on black with white and fussy cut it using fine detail scissors. Add this sentiment to the bottom of the frame and your card is done.
