I am sorry about a very long post today, but you don't want to miss it.Also please check out the Diecember gallery over at SimonSaysStamp blog fr more inspiration and upload your work on it as well.

This word sentiment die is so beautiful and the Calligraphy is just amazing. I wanted these cards only to showcase this amazing Hello Crafty Friend Die. I created two cards using the positive and the negative of the die. The die set has two dies one is the sentiment and the other is the shadow for the sentiment.

Card 1- I started by cutting thin strips of various colored card stock in different sizes and adhered it in an angle on a white 80lbs Neenah Solar White Cardstock. i adhered just enough strips so as to have little over hang of the die on the top edge and the bottom edge when I go to die cut it..

I placed the die in an angle on the adhered colored strips and ran it through my Gemini die cut machine. I placed an acetate in the back as I wanted to create a shaker card for this one. I glued the foam adhesive to the back around the outer edges of the die to create a well for the sequins and glitter and adhered it this colored panel to a top folding white note card. I die cut the sentiment from white card stock and adhered on the acetate window using liquid glue. The additional sentiment is from SSS Inside Out Sentiment set, which I stamped using Versafine Black ink in an angle. To finish this card I added some iridescent sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Card 2- For this card I used the positive of the shadow die with the colored strips on it. I also die cut the intricate sentiment die on a white cardstock three times and adhered them to make them thick and dimensional, which I then Adhere on the shadow of the die. i kept this card very simple as there was enough dimensions and colors on the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment on to a white top folding 41/4 square note card added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. The addition sentiment reads your are amazing and this is form SSS Inside Out Sentiment stamp set.
