Today I have five different cards to share with you and each of them showcase a new product from this release, so grab your favorite drink and lets begin
i used the new SSS Santa's Sleigh Ride Slider from the Make Merry release to make this card. I kept this card very simple cause, the images in this set are small with lots of details in them.
I did not want a whole lot of colors on this card . so I chose a few images to color red and colored the window with yellow to show the glowing light from inside. I added some shading on a few elements like the snow and the sleigh to add some depth. The sentiments are also from the same stamp set.
This card features the SSS Falling Leaves Layering Stencil from the Make Merry 2020 Release. This is an awesome stencil which gives you the ability to use it in many different ways. I kept this card very simple once again and used fall color. I created a heart mask and used the stencil to fill in the heart shape. The Distress inks used are Wild Honey and Dried Marigold. After I was done stenciling, I added glitter dots with a glitter gel pen, in different sizes to fill in the gaps. The Friend sentiment is from SSS Beautiful Butterflies set, which I stamped with black ink and adhere to the center of the heart with foam adhesive.
This card is a slim line size and uses the SSS Falling Leaves Stencil and the Slim Line Christmas Wafer Die from the Make Merry 2020 release. I used the stencil to create a background with various shades of green, aqua and brown inks. I then die cut the stenciled background and a a gold foil card stock with the Slim Line Christmas die. I popped up the sold Christmas using foam adhesive in the negative space of the die cut on the background panel. I adhere the outline of the Christmas die which was cut using gold foil card stock over the popped up solid Christmas die. To add a pop of color I added some red berries using Nuvo crystal drops in Red Berry color. The sentiment is from SSS The Magic Of Christmas stamp set, which I stamped and embossed with white on a red card stock strip.
This one here is probably my favorite card of all. I have been wanting to to make a peek-a-boo flip card for sometime and this SSS Feline Like Christmas Spinners was just the one for it. Because this stamp set is made specifically for spinner cards it has the front and the back view of the images. This is the front of the card. Here the cat's visiting his friend at his house for Christmas party with a present in his hand and he is by the door waiting to be welcomed inside.
When you open the card the inside reveals the front facing cat and the scene is inside the house. You can click on the video HERE by Jennifer McGuire on how to make this card.
Hope I have inspired you to use these awesome new Products from the SSS Make Merry 2020 release Make sure to drop by each artists on the hop and leave them some love. Have a wonderful day and happy hopping.
